The Kimberley

The M Y Keri Lee has recently returned from a truly breathtaking cruise of the rugged and spectacular Kimberley coast of Western Australia which has to be one of the world’s last great wilderness areas.

The Kimberley coastline is arguably one of the most dramatic in the world, in particular, from the Buccaneer Archipelago to the Bonaparte Archipelago. The phenomenal power displayed at Talbot Bay where the Kimberley’s twelve metre tides create the unique spectacle of two way cascades of water twice a day, so called “Horizontal Waterfalls”.

Twenty kilometres out to sea you will discover the Montgomery Reef, a 300 square kilometre coral platform rises some eight metres out of the sea as the low tide drains off revealing turtles and other sea life swimming through this roaring river in the m iddle of the ocean.

For the best fishing and diving anywhere you will not surpass a trio of reefs about 200 kilometres from Broome known as Rowley Shoals. This pristine and isolated area can be enjoyed onboard the M Y Keri Lee as she is fully equipped with every toy and water craft for maximum use while in this location.

The combination of this sensational part of the world and the luxurious M Y Keri Lee makes for an experience you will not forget.
